James W. McEntee of Suffern NY passed away February 11, 2012 at the age of 84. Born December 27, 1927 in the Bronx, NY to John and Anna McEntee, James was a Corporal in the US Army during WW II and was retired from the New York City Police Department working in the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx. James was pre-deceased by his wife Patricia in 2010, and is survived by his children, Carole and her husband Carmine Coviello of Suffern, Susan and her husband Robert Kratchman of Suffern, Nancy Landzert and husband Mark of Ramsey, NJ, and James of Suffern, 4 grandchildren, Kristen, Kate, Christopher, and John, and 2 sisters, Eleanor Cuthel, and Joan Rutan survive him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ, friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 Pm at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc Route 202 Suffern. In lieu of flowers donations to St Judes Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated
