Matilda Caraluzzi of Suffern NY passed away March 22, 2012 at the age of 91. Born December 13, 1920 in the Bronx, NY to Joseph and Louise Caraluzzi. Matilda was retired as a bookkeeper for the Local 153 in NYC, she was a member of the Suffern Seniors. She is survived by her Sister, Michelina Bocchichio and Husband John of Suffern, 1 niece Debra Reed, of Suffern, 2 nephews, Robert Bocchichio and his wife Martha of West Milford, NJ, and Joseph Giardina and his wife Joanne of Islip NY, and great aunt to Meagan, Samantha, Michael, John, Kolby, Julie, and Jacqueline. A Mass of Christian Burial Will be Celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at Sacred heart Church in Suffern Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 Pm at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc Route 202 Suffern. In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Association would be appreciated.
