Ronald Stephen Sabo of Suffern NY passed away April 4, 2012 at the age of 73. Born December 7, 1938 in Passaic, NJ to Joseph and Julia Sabo, Ronald was a 50 year resident of Suffern and previous owner of Island Lake Beach Club in Tallman, NY in the 1950’s and 60’s, also a member of the 3rd Order of Tagaste Monastery in Suffern. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo (Billy) Sabo, his children, Todd, and Sharon Sabo, Christine and Peter Javenes, Stacy and Michael Sabo- Vogelsang, and Ronald and Christine Sabo, his grandchildren, Elsa Javenes, Jagger Javenes, Dylan Sabo, Colin Sabo, his brother Theodore Sabo, his Mother in law Margaret D. Billy, sister in law Marcy O’Brien, and brother in law Joseph P. Billy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, Cremation will be private, and friends may call on Monday from 5:00 Pm to 9:00 PM at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc Route 202 Suffern.
